Did a nice backpacking trip with one of my best friends and his wife for 5 days a few weeks back. Nice to get away, get off grid, shoot some photos and just enjoy the outdoors. Sierra alpine lakes have been on my list to see for quite sometime, and we saw a few. - George
Went back to Oakland last month to hang and I noticed some changes in the neighborhood. Here are some photos that I took of the same alley way on broadway in 2011, 2013, and 2016.

Dusting off some old stuff that never really got much attention back in the day. Tim invited me along to backpack the Lost Coast in October of 2013 with him and group of his friends. I shot all these pics then and never really did much with them. Tim's pictures from that trip are posted here. - George
Earlier this year, I got to spend my first weekend ever in New Orleans, LA. I didn't even get to scratch the surface, but it became my most favorite city I've visited in a long time. Here are some photos I made with my trusty rangefinder. Can't wait to get back.
Select beautiful and haunting landscape film photographs from around the Santa Ynez Valley wine region and the Central Coast of California by Sergio Ramirez.
A few quick iphone photos from this weeks early morning hike in Stag's Leap. This trail guide gave me legal access to a really incredible ridge trail above the Napa Valley.

Made a trip to Eel River with the homie Emilio and friends. I had never been swimming this far north in California before. The campsite was right on the river and made for some great day hikes to different swimming holes. Awesome trip, highly recommend. – Tim

Two weeks ago, a group of us headed down the coast to dive Big Sur, Ca. I typically dive up North for Abalone, but since the season hasn't started and since it's been ridiculously nice weather, I thought this was a chance to check out what the Central Coast had to offer.
After reading up on Big Sur's famous coastline, it didn't take long to find out about Jade Cove. Divers and rock collectors have been going there since the 70's in hunt for the precious stone, so we thought we'd take a stab at it and become filthy rich rock collectors.
The diving conditions were perfect. 12 ft visability and almost no swell, made it easy to do some exploring. Once I entered the water, I instantly saw a giant ling cod, and decided to change from rock hunting to spearfishing. I didn't get anything but I did follow Eric around, who got a nice Rock fish that we grilled that afternoon. No Jade was found underwater, but we all grabbed a few small pieces on shore.
I shot my little sea and sea camera underwater and my mamiya 7 on land. Here are the black and whites, a few colors to come. Check out George's blog for his photos and a more detailed tale of the trip. -Tim

Was lucky enough to go out on the bay on a friends sailboat last Sunday. I grew up looking and driving all over the bay, and have been on a ferry, but navigating by sailboat was something else. No Sturgeon were caught, but it was a wild time. –Tim
